Quite interesting discussion with him, as you may know I am a very loyal buyer of his books.. I bought the last two books that he wrote as well more a dozen books from him.

It is quite interesting , that most of the time when I read his books, I mostly agree but at the final stage I always do not agree:):). Anyway I always find his books quite helpful and worth the money.:):)

Tonight to my surprise he replied on my questions:):)… but I really do not agree on his opinion but I respect his thoughts as well as other people’s thought as we live in a free world:). I believe that faith is the business between the Almighty and His creations.

His Idea is exactly like – for my Indonesian friends- must know: Syech Siti Jenar and his story. Just for the sake for the other readers on the other part of the world, let me retell the story in short:

One day, a messenger was sent to call Syech siti Jenar to meet with the 9 Walis ( 9 Guardians). In front of the house he greeted Syech Siti Jenar, and asked whether Syech Siti Jenar was at home. Syech Siti Jenar answered: He is not at home. Then the messenger asked who is at home? Then he answered : The Almighty!

Then the messenger went back home and told the walis that he was not at home Only the Almighty was. So the Walis asked the messenger to go back and asked ” the almighty” to come.

But when the messenger mentioned “the almighty” , Syech Siti Jenar asnwered :Syech Siti Jenar and “the almighty” was at home.

The point here, Syech Siti Jenar wanted to express he is Syech Siti Jenar, ” the almighty” and syech siti jenar and “the almighty”.. manunggaling kawulo gusti ( the unity of the creator and the creatures).

Which opinion, in my humble thought was a wrong perception of As Sad ( the letter) QS 38: 71-75:
71. Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: “I am about to create man from clay:

72. “When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him.”

73. So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together:

74. Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith.

75. ((Allah)) said: “O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?”

I believe that God created man as the highest creation but at the same time man is only creation that was breathed into him the Almighty’s spirit. Certainly man IS NOT God
